Post-It Note Supports for Specific Titles
At our training with Mary one 1/26/08 she shared a strategy for supporting readers who are launching into a new level or genre. The teacher writes post-its and places them in the book for the student as a way to facilitate the book and the reading strategies for the learner. She was kind enough to allow us to use her post-its from Twilight to start our own collection of post-it supports for books. We can share the work load by collecting the post-its our community generates here. For Mary's, I just typed them into a word document and attached them using the "Add an attachment" feature in the toolbox on the right. You can find all of the attachments by scrolling down.
