Friendly - Wetpaint Wiki Paint Splatters What are systems teachers are using to make sure they see every notebook on a somewhat regular basis? I really struggle with this even though I know it is essential to assessing my writers.

Hi all - I'm really struggling with how to grade notebooks in a way that communicates effectively with families but doesn't make me want to poke my own eyes out. Do you have any suggestions or strategies that you use that I could try?

Hi all - I experimented with this tour form earlier this week and I think it went pretty well. It's a guide sheet for students to take their family members on tours of their notebooks. We used the mini-lesson area to post-it our choices in our notebooks,
