Leveling Books and Classroom Libraries

Friendly - Wetpaint Wiki Paint Splatters This is Martin speaking here: We continue to level more and more books. If you are part of the Seattle Public Schools Readers Workshop, you've been given a location to find the newest Excel version of our list of leveled books. (If you need that location, please email me for it: mapiccoli@seattleschools.org). If you are not a member of Seattle Schools, but you'd like to see what we've got so far, look on this page (below) for our alphabetized-by-title Word document with all 1200+ books that we've leveled.

Friendly - Wetpaint Wiki Paint Splatters Scroll down to find examples of a classroom librarian application and check-out log. I'd love to know what other strategies or applications teachers have used to manage their libraries or select student librarians.

Hi all! I'm sitting on a couple hundred books that don't have levels and I'm itching to get them out and into kids hands - any suggestions on short cuts to leveling?
